SIMBA Community Distribution
To show our gratitude to the Million community, we are running a community distribution of SIMBA to members of our Discord server and early users of the protocol. Through this program, the community will receive 3% of the total supply of SIMBA, the native ERC-20 governance token of Simba Stake.
How To Be Eligible For the Base Distribution:
In order to be eligible for the community distribution, you must join our Discord server here: https://discord.gg/QvwaavxNjU
After joining, go to the “Community Distribution” channel
In that channel, type !mywallet followed by your Ethereum wallet address. An example command will look like: !mywallet 0xabcdefghijklmnop
Once this command is sent, your wallet address will be automatically deleted from the channel, and your tokens will be secured.
You will be able to secure eligibility for the base SIMBA distribution from Friday, October 15 at 5PM EST to Tuesday, October 26 at 11:30 PM EST. After this window closes, no additional wallets will be eligible for the community distribution.
How To Double and Triple Your Distribution:
Following the above instructions are required in order to be eligible for the base SIMBA community distribution. You can complete two additional actions to double and triple your distribution. Completing one of the staking actions will double your distribution, and completing both will triple your distribution.
Multiplier A: Be staked in ANY of Simba Stake’s pools by Monday, October 18th at 11:30 PM EST.
Multiplier B: Be staked in ANY of Simba Stake’s pools by Monday, October 25th at 11:30 PM EST.
We will be taking snapshots of pool participant wallets at the stated times. Staking in ANY of the Simba Stake pools will earn you eligibility for the multiplier on the stated dates.
How To Claim Your Distribution:
On Saturday, October 30 a claim’s page will open up at https://simbastake.com. The specific URL will be publicized on Twitter and Discord, so be sure to check those channels on that date. Claims will be subject to a vesting period in order to fairly distribute the tokens.
How Much SIMBA Will Be Distributed?
A total of 3,000,000 SIMBA will be sent out as part of the community distribution. This is 3% of the total supply.
How Much SIMBA Will I get?
The amount each person can claim is determined by how many actions an individual takes and how many people claim overall.
An example: Say there are 1000 people that participate. Half of them join the Simba Stake Discord only, completing the base requirement. The other half join the Discord server and are staked on both October 18th and October 25th (completing 3 actions). The total actions completed would be 2000 (500 people completed the base requirement, and 500 people completed both staking actions, multiplying their SIMBA distribution by 3x).
The math: The base SIMBA distribution then becomes 3,000,000 / 2,000 = 1,500
In this scenario, if you join the Discord only, you would earn 1,500 SIMBA. If you joined the Discord and were staked on October 18 and October 25, your distribution would triple to 4,500 SIMBA.
